Experiential Event Design

Staging richer experiences for your guests during meetings, events, and conferences is now critical for event success. In this fast-paced session, you will discover seven people-centered, science-based principles that inform design and aid in creating meaningful and memorable guest experiences. You’ll leave this session with a new way of thinking about event design and how to impact your next “experience.”

Guests will have the opportunity to see a just released collection of new event rental furniture by Loulou Lounge Furniture Rentals and hear what’s trendy in the meetings industry.  Loulou Lounge Furniture Rentals will also highlight some event design principles to give you a feel of event designing coming to life!

About our speakers:

Greg Bogue, Chief Experience Architect, Maritz Global Events.

For more than 30 years, Greg Bogue has been dedicated to creating messages and experiences that move people. As vice president of experience design, Bogue is applying the latest in neuroscience to help Maritz Global Events transform the way it designs and delivers exceptional meeting and event experiences for its clients.

In his role, he is focused on improving the guest experience in meetings, events and incentive travel programs to create better value for both organizations and their guests. Bogue works closely with client teams to elevate the guest experience and ensure the evolution of event design. He is creative catalyst who can quickly synthesize a message and help organizations deliver it to their guests at a higher level.

Bogue is a certified Experience Economy Expert by Jim Gilmore, a renowned experience expert and coauthor of The Experience Economy. In 2014, Bogue was awarded the prestigious Experience Management Achievement Award by Strategic Horizons LLP for his significant contributions in creating new-to-the-world experience offerings and approaches to Maritz Travel Company.  In 2015 Bogue was honored as one of the 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry by Successful Meetings Magazine and most recently Bogue was named a 2017 Changemaker by MeetingsNet.

Carole Saad, CMP is the chic director of this swell company. Having worked in the industry for 20 years, Carole founded chic & swell event designers and LouLou Lounge Furniture Rentals because the meetings & special events industry is her passion. In addition to these roles, Carole is also Vice-President of Events at 50 Sussex, Ottawa’s newest and chicest venue.
