Experiential Learning Day – Hop on the Harvest Bus! (Niagara Falls)

This special “on-the-road” learning experience will offer new ideas for team building, food trends special beverage activities and a hands-on CSR activity.  Coach transfers from Toronto will be sponsored by MCC Destination Management and will have some unexpected stops on route to wine country. This will be a wonderful way to network in beautiful Niagara with our local PCMA suppliers.

13th Street Winery
Chef Josh Berry will present a few fall recipes for you to taste & Sommelier Andrea Vani will create a fabulous wine pairing. Participants will be able to browse the Bakery and Country Store, which is the home of Canada’s Best Buttertart (by House and Home Magazine). 13th Street is also home to Vineyard Cottage, a fantastic location to host a corporate retreat.

Trius Estates Winery Tour
The Trius Tour blends world-class wines with tasty treats and out-of-this-world art installations to create an experience that is unlike anything offered at other wineries. As you chill with a glass of Rosé on an elevated hot pink vineyard perch, descend into the depths of Canada’s most extensive underground sparkling cellar or snap the perfect selfie in their Bubble Tub, we think you’ll agree that this is the most Instagramable winery tour on the planet! An expert guide will answer questions and offer additional insight into their wines and winery.

Trius Estates Winery
Harvest Themed Black Glass Tasting lead by the Resident Sommelier. Can you guess the wine in the glass?? Test your wine pairing knowledge while you experience this enjoyable group activity. Chef Dodd will offer a seasonally inspired lunch to accompany the experience.

Wayne Gretzky Estates
The Whisky Bartender: A 45-minute interactive experience with our best bartenders, featuring insider tips on how to create the ultimate whisky cocktail.

Niagara Parks
The Niagara Parks Tree Planting Program is part of our commitment to the environment and its sustainable development. Participating guests will have the opportunity to plant native deciduous seedlings known to the Carolinian Life Zone. Participants will plant seedlings, fill their site with soil, and mulch their designated area. A Niagara Parks horticultural specialist will meet with our group to prepare their planting location and explain the benefits of the program, such as air quality improvement and offsetting the effects of greenhouse gases from vehicles.
Our group will plant a tree to offset the carbon footprint of the visit and be part of Niagara Parks goal to plant 2,000 trees along the Niagara Parkway over the next three years!

Scotiabank Convention Centre and Niagara Falls Business Events
Niagara Falls Business Event Partners will participate in a casual reception to showcase what venues, supplies and experiences are available for meeting and conferences. The SCCN’s Chef – James Price, will be our featured guest who will be presenting to the group the latest food and beverage trends from the Niagara Region.
