Benoit Beauséjour-Savard is the Director of Restaurants & Banquets at Hotel Place d’Armes in the heart of Old Montreal. He oversees the hotel’s 12,000 square feet of banquet space and restaurants Brasserie 701, Kyo Bar Japonais and Terrasse Place d’Armes. Benoit joined the Hotel in 2014 as Maitre-D of Brasserie 701, the Hotel’s classic French bistro. He also serves as Experience Old Montreal’s spokesperson for their winter restaurant festival “Happening Gourmand.” If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Benoit at the Hotel, he may seem familiar as he was a contestant on the hit television series: The Bachelorette Canada, Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games, proudly representing Canada.
Roxanne has over twenty years experience in the hospitality industry. She started working in restaurants at the age of 14 as a student job, fell in love with the industry and later made her career out of it. After a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Concordia University in Montreal, Roxanne set out on a Caribbean adventure, where she ended up working as a private chef for an affluent family in the Bahamas, for close to two years. During her hospitality career she has worked with prestigious restaurant groups such as Oliver & Bonacini and Stephen Beckta. While at Stephen Beckta, she opened Gezellig and started her WSET journey and completed Level 3. Now, working as a Manager at SOIF Bar à Vin de Véronique Rivest, she is in charge of staff training and the elite wine program. Roxanne is highly regarded as one of the top hospitality professionals in our country.
Ioanna Antonopoulos is a Senior Sales Manager for the Antonopoulos Group, representing 5 boutique hotels and 11 restaurants in Old Montreal. Ioanna grew up in the hospitality industry, working in her family’s business part-time through school. She went on to obtain her CPA, CA designation and worked at KPMG in audit and university recruitment for the Montreal & Toronto offices. She then pivoted her career and returned to the hospitality industry as a Sales Manager based in Toronto, growing the Antonopoulos Group’s presence in the Canadian meetings market. Growing up in restaurants, Ioanna enjoys all things food-related: cooking, trying new restaurants & travelling to eat some more!
